Now you can view every Blu-ray disc that's on the market and sort them by genre, highest audio specifications, price, title, release date, and more. Blu-Ray Review: 'Juno' || Release Date: April 15, 2008

 In an unexpected announcement earlier today, Sony has announced that it's Playstation 3 console will receive another update on Tuesday, April 15th. Dubbed the v2.30 update, The PS3 will get its new PLAYSTATION Store browser and support for DTS HD Master Audio decoding on equipped Blu-ray discs! Support for DTS HD MA in the Playstation 3 has been long awaited by many audiophiles and this news brings great relief to many people.

 Some users of DTS HD Master Audio have reported loud pops in the soundtracks of certain Blu-rays while outputting the track via bitsream to capable Onkyo and Yamaha receivers. Playstation 3 users should not need to worry about this problem though as the system internally decodes these tracks and outputs them via PCM to your receiver. Updates to fix this problem should be available for your receiver should you ever want to future proof your set up for a standalone player.

 Similar to other recent offers from Circuit City and Best Buy, Amazon.com is offering a $50 credit towards anything Amazon.com sells for those customers who purchased an HD DVD player from Amazon.com before February 23, 2008. If you qualified, Amazon.com should have sent you an email with the promotional code on April 9th, 2008.

Blu-Ray Review: 'Hitman' || Release Date: March 11, 2008
  Based off the video game of the same name, Hitman makes its debut to Blu-ray in a well rounded disc with a good mixture of additional content.

 Toshiba Corporation, developer of Blu-ray's rival high definition format HD DVD, announced its cessation of HD DVD players and recorders today officially ending the Blu-ray/HD DVD 'format war'. At last, consumers reluctant to purchase players and discs will now be able to confidently buy high definition discs. Following the announcement, Universal Studios announced it will begin developing Blu-ray Discs. No word yet from Paramount Studios, the sole HD DVD exclusive studio, on future high def plans.

This film is going to make a ton of money and even though it is from Paramount Studios, it will likely be a Blu-ray exclusive because it is a Steven Spielberg film.
